Male Answer Syndrome is what you see when men leap to answer a question or statement with only the briefest of knowledge... because they're on average much more confident than women.

It would be heartless of a woman to abandon the work of raising her child. Unthinkable. That, and the myriad other tasks *expected* of women underscore an important foundation of most modern (and pre-modern) societies: they are deeply dependent on unpaid female labor.

Best to keep women insecure, than informing them they're pillars of community and society. They might wise up and demand a little respect, even... compensation.
