By now you know that a restaurant asked Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders to leave their establishment. The restaurant had a number of gay employees that were uncomfortable cooking/serving someone that works for such a demonstrably anti-LGBTQ+ administration.
Note that Ms. Sanders was politely asked to leave; not physically 'kicked out'.
Shortly after, there were calls for 'civility'. One particularly clueless piece came from the Washington Post. Should we extend tolerance to those who are intolerant? (Especially when they plan to take advantage of these actions?) I don't have much respect for violence; I do advocate disruption. These are not normal times. Bigots are not owed your respect or deference.
What kind of 'good trouble' might someone from the Civil Rights Era counsel? People tend to forget that the movement was centered around Christian churches SO
Waiters and servers emerge from kitchen, hold hands: "We're going to pray for you. You need more than physical nourishment."
