I really should partner up with a Khmer artist to capture the kitsch look and feel of romance novels, film and videos. About 10 minutes to draw, could have spent a day on this one.

It really amazes me how women can be drawn to obsess over some kind of ideal, rather than be comfortable to 'wear their own body'. This comic came from a few conversations I've been having recently - guys have a lot lower standards for their own self-maintenance, and are a lot less judgemental than the media might have you think.
Keep women insecure so that they continue to provide free services (cooking, childrearing) that prop up economies. It's all a plot by the Military-Industrial-Entertainment-Educational complex anyway.

Postscript: Friday AM my time, Thursday PM USA time. Re-scanned and added some color! Don't go expecting the world. DO expect a comic daily. It could be a detailed masterpiece, but doodles on a post-it note are more likely.
